Gov’t Mule has enjoyed a classic success for a side-project of Warren Haynes and Allen Woody, both part of Allman Brothers Band. This success replicates the success once enjoyed by Hot Tuna, also a side project experiment. (Hot Tuna was an interim project for Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen, both of Jefferson Airplane.) Formed in 1994, the band has released over 20 studio, live, and ‘odds ‘n ends’ sets. Since their formation, Gov’t Mule has become a classic Southern jam band with a sizable fan-base.

On June 9, Gov’t Mule will release their latest album, Revolution Come…Revolution Go. The new album will contain twelve new songs with a 2CD Deluxe Edition adding in six more tracks. the new album is being released released via Concord Records after a massive Pledge Music self-funding effort. As a matter of fact, if you go to their Pledge Music page, you’ll be inundated with a wealth of bundles and other goodies (here). Concord will distribute the music to stores  and online markets.

Revolution Come…Revolution Go will be released on CD, 2CD Deluxe Edition, DD, and vinyl 2LP.

Gov’t Mule will undertake a large Spring tour to support the new album.
