With all of the Pink Floyd attention that we’ve had over the last few years, it’s no surprise that other titles that flew under the radar would be released soon. Now that we’re getting quality reissues of new vinyl LPs, it’s time to turn to the other titles that have gotten little love or thought.
On June 17, Columbia Records, with the help of Legacy Recordings, will reissue four titles that include a live set (Delicate Sound Of Thunder, 1988), and three collections that include Relics (1971), A Foot In The Door: The Best Of Pink Floyd (2011), and Echoes: The Best Of Pink Floyd (2001).
There doesn’t appear to be anything special here other than their re-release to reintroduce the titles to the marketplace, possibly to take advantage of increased awareness. If you don’t have any of these, now would be the time to grab a copy of one or the other, or all of them.
