On May 27, Sanctuary Records will reissue Sweet Freedom, the 1973 classic Uriah Heep album that provided the hit single, “Stealin'”. Sweet Freedom has already been blessed with remastering and expansion with the 2004 set that included six bonus tracks including a rousing live version of “Stealin'”. There’s little doubt that those 2004 editions have sold through. Early in 2015, Sanctuary re-released that reissue in the UK. It would appear that that re-release will now be made available in the US. So, nothing special save that if you’ve never had it, now’s the time to rectify that oversight. It’s nice to keep such classics in circulation, right?
Personally, I’d have liked to see this reissue as vinyl LP.
