Primal Scream ChaosmosisPrimal Scream has been around since the early ’80s, which gives them a ton of deserved respect from the outset. With a wealth of Rock n Roll influences, they have a genuine approach to their music that keeps them viable to this day. There’s a lot of history to this band. The most interesting of that history is that Bobby Gillespie was once a drummer for The Jesus And Mary Chain in the mid-80s, appearing on Psychocandy (1985). To this day, Bobby Gillespie keeps the music of Primal Scream a powerful part of the legacy of Rock and Roll.

Following ten damn fine albums, Primal Scream will add one more with the upcoming release of Chaosmosis. This new album will be the home of ten new tracks, following up their More Light album from 2013. You don’t have to go far on any of their easily heard music to recognize – and appreciate – their pedigree.

Chaosmosis is scheduled for release on March 18. The new set will be issued on CD, DD, and 180g-weight heavy vinyl LP. A Limited Edition Picture Disc LP is available via their PledgeMusic page. At this site, there are also a wealth of additional bonus offerings.
