We’re at that point in the season where the labels seem to go to sleep for the remainder of the year. That’s not to say that they’re totally out of the picture. I’m sure there is a minor surprise here or there. But that’s about it. So, here’s some titles on the calendar for you to choose from:

Vinyl is still in an upsurge. With that, there are plenty of titles being resurrected for vinyl reissuing.

On January 15, Reprise will release “White Walker” by Mastodon. It’s a Game Of Thrones-related track. It will be offered as a 12″ vinyl picture disc.

Elektra Records will release a 3LP collection for Linda Ronstadt called Just One Look. The LP set will feature 30 newly remastered (2015) tracks from her vast career on three LPs. The 2CD set of the same 30 tracks was released in late August of this year.

Also on January 15, Atlantic Records will provide LP vinyl for two Rush titles that include Snakes & Arrows (2LP, 2007), and Feedback (covers, 2004).

ORG Music have a 180g-weight, yellow-colored vinyl LP arriving on January 12 of Controlled By Hatred/Feel Like Shit…Dèjá Vu (1989), from Suicidal Tendencies.

Jemp Records will re-release The Siket Disc, a 1999 album of accumulated off-tracks by Phish. It is planned for 180g-weight vinyl LP release on December 18.

Mute Records will offer “Tutti Frutti” by New Order on yellow vinyl, scheduled for December 18.

Adele‘s new album, 25, gets vinyl on November 20.

Brand new Cage the Elephant album, Tell Me I’m Pretty gets CD, DD, and vinyl LP, all on December 18.

The End Records will release Fear Beyond Lunacy, the album from Hatchet, on turquoise vinyl LP, and pegged for January 8. The CD and DD versions were released on October 30.

Sanctuary will reissue a 2003 title from Robert Cray, Time Will Tell, on December 18.

Third Man Records will release a new Loretta Lynn album, Van Lear Rose, which was produced by Jack White. It will issue on CD, DD, and vinyl LP. It is scheduled for December 18.

Sanctuary Records will offer three Lynyrd Skynyrd sets that include an MCA compilation Then And Now (2000), a CMC label studio effort, Twenty (1997), and the 1999 SPV label studio issue, Edge Of Forever.

And finally, Rhino Records will release an 8CD 2015 remastered collection of Miles Davis called The Last Word – The Warner Brothers Years. Placed in a clamshell topped box, each album is housed in a Japanese-styled mini-LP cardboard sleeve. The box will provide a 60-page booklet with new liner notes and lots of photos. The Last Word is set for December 11.
