The final three of the official Led Zeppelin catalog now have a date set for their day in the sun. As with the previous LedZep classics that have been remastered and expanded in definitive editions, so will it be for Presence (1976), In Through The Out Door (1979), and Coda (1982).

On July 31, Swan Song / Atlantic Records will push the remaining three out into the marketplace. Each album can be experienced – like the previous reissues – as laden Super Deluxe Editions, multi-disc Deluxe Editions, single CD, 180g-weight Deluxe Edition vinyl LPs, single 180g-weight LP, and digital downloads (including hi-resolution files).

Presence will be most represented by a 2CD/2LP Super Deluxe Edition with an 88-page hardback book, download card of all digital files, and more:

  1. These reissues have been a tad disappointing. Doesn’t seem like they really unearthed much unreleased material other than “rough mixes”. At least the catalog is getting a decent remastering.

  2. Well this last set of remaster/reissues is a motherlode of material. I, for one, am looking forward to the In Through The Out Door remaster…great stuff!

  3. I agree J-Jam but with that said, I’ve bought all of the deluxe cd sets. They’ve finally made Coda a must have album (even though I would have picked up regardless… it’s Zeppelin).

  4. I like that LZ didn’t drag it out over years. Sir Paul could learn something from them.

  5. Will they be working on the live albums next? For example, a complete Song Remains The Same recordings would be nice.

    1. I thought they already did in 2007.
The original album had this track listing:
      Rock And Roll
      Celebration Day
      The Song Remains The Same
      Rain Song
      Dazed And Confused
      No Quarter
      Stairway To Heaven
      Moby Dick
      Whole Lotta Love

The 2007 version added these songs:
      Black Dog
Over The Hills And Far Away
      Misty Mountain Hop
      Since I’ve Been Loving You
      The Ocean
      Heartbreaker

What other songs did they play at that concert that weren’t on the 2007 version? If there are many more that must have been one long-ass concert.
There are probably other concerts, never released, that they could concentrate on.

  6. The 2007 version had extra songs but different versions of many songs compared to the original album; in particular the version of No Quarter was not the same as on the original album (I noticed it on the first listen). The album is a compilation of three concerts (frequently cutting between concerts in the middle of a song), and it would be great to have all three show, or as much as remains of them in the vault, without overdubs and cuts.
