Genesis And Then There Were ThreeAtlantic Records and Rhino will replenish the marketplace with a batch of Genesis titles scheduled for release on February 17. With the recent re-release of earlier Gabriel-led titles, it would make sense to re-release later titles that were led by Collins. Those titles include Wind & Wuthering (1976), Duke (1980), Abacab (1981), And Then There Were Three… (1978), and A Trick Of The Tail (1976).

These CD re-releases will contain the 2007 remasters and will not contain anything special or extra. In fact, like the previously released Gabriel-led titles, you may even ask why I’m bothering with such triviality. It’s always great to have product being replaced on store shelves.

In any case, there you have it. If you don’t have one of these, here’s your chance to add them to your library.

  1. Too bad the sound on these releases are shrill and tinny. The remixes too don’t help. Duke, especially.

  2. I agree with Jim. I bought some of the 2007 remasters, but find myself now going back and trying to find the original CD releases. Wasted opportunity.

  3. True — the 1994 remasters were much better, but I enjoyed the 5.1 versions that were included in ’07. Matt, any word on more Blu Ray audio versions of the Genesis catalog?
